Job summary

Roche India - Roche Services and Solutions seeks a Lead/Senior Analyst in Analytics & Intelligence to drive medical analytics initiatives. You will work across real-world data analyses, patient outcomes, and HEOR, leveraging claims, EHR/EMR, and trial data.

The role collaborates with Field Medical, USMA, and other teams to translate questions into actionable insights, build scalable pipelines, and deliver high-quality outputs while mentoring junior staff. Hybrid work model in Hyderabad/Chennai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biostatistics required.
• Master's degree is an added advantage for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytics initiatives supporting Medical Affairs across real-world data analysis and patient outcomes.
• Partner with Field Medical and Medical Networks teams to generate insights from engagement data.
• Develop and implement scalable data pipelines, automation, and analytical frameworks for large healthcare datasets.
• Work on HEOR, patient journey analytics, and health equity research using claims, EHR/EMR, and trial data.
• Translate scientific and business questions into analytical solutions and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Communicate insights through clear presentations to stakeholders and mentor junior team members.

As a Senior Analyst – Medical Analytics, you will collaborate closely with Field analytics & Insights - Medical, U.S. Medical Affairs (USMA) teams. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven medical strategy and enhancing patient outcomes through advanced analytics. ## **Your Opportunity*** Lead complex analytics initiatives supporting Medical Affairs across areas such as real-world data analysis, patient outcomes, treatment pathways, pre & post launch tracking, customer list generation and disease progression* Partner with Field Medical and Medical Networks teams to generate insights from HCP/KOL engagement data, enabling optimization of medical strategies and field effectiveness* Develop and implement scalable data pipelines, automation solutions, and analytical frameworks to process and analyze large healthcare datasets* Work on analytics use cases spanning HEOR, medical impact assessment, patient journey analytics, and health equity research* Leverage diverse datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trial data, and interaction data (MSL/HCP engagements) to derive actionable insights* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate scientific and business questions into analytical solutions and deliver high-quality outputs* Create clear and impactful presentations to communicate complex clinical and scientific insights to stakeholders* Act as a thought partner by delivering high-quality, scientifically grounded analytics solutions and recommendations* Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder alignment* Work across global teams and time zones to support business needs* Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building within the team## **Who you are*** You hold a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, with 4–8 years of analytics/consulting experience, including 2–5 years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare analytics. A Master’s degree is an added advantage* Strong experience in Medical Analytics, real-world data analysis, clinical analytics, or outcomes research* Hands-on experience working with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trials, and field medical interaction data* Good understanding of U.S. Medical Affairs ecosystem, including Field Medical, Medical Networks, and Scientific Operations* Proficiency in SQL and Excel, along with strong programming skills in Python, R, or SAS* Experience in building data pipelines, automation workflows, and scalable analytical solutions* Strong understanding of statistical techniques, data modelling, and analytical problem-solving* Exposure to therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, neurology, etc., is preferred* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights* Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment### Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
