Job summary

KBR is seeking a Knowledge Management Lead in Chennai to build and govern a centralised, searchable knowledge repository for proposals and technical content. You will manage a small KM team and drive continuous improvement of knowledge assets and the SharePoint environment.

You will collaborate with Proposals, Operations, Engineering, and Business Development to capture, verify, and maintain assets, leveraging AI tools to enhance content and ensure accuracy and timeliness across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, information management, communications, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of content creation and administration in Proposals, Information Management, Technical Documentation, or a similar function.
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Editing experience – strong command of English language (grammar, punctuation).
• Strong working knowledge of SharePoint, including metadata management, search optimisation, reporting, dashboards, and data analytics.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to support content development and knowledge management activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement KM strategy and governance framework.
• Centralise repository for methodologies, templates, project experience, wins, CVs, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Administer SharePoint-based KM platform: site structure, metadata, permissions, reporting, and content governance.
• Collaborate with Proposals, Operations, Engineering, BD, and other teams to capture and maintain knowledge assets.
• Leverage AI tools to create, enhance, summarize, and maintain content.
• Eliminate duplicates and outdated information to maintain a trusted single source of truth.
• Develop reporting and analytics to monitor repository usage and knowledge gaps.
