Job summary

HSBC in India is seeking a data analytics professional with 2–6 years of experience to lead and deliver analytical solutions across ML projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, devise strategies for project delivery, and ensure high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on developing ML models, applying statistical concepts, and communicating insights clearly while mentoring junior team members and adhering to established policies and processes.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related disciplines.
• 2–6 years of experience; data science or programming focus on ML.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and ML algorithms.
• Hands-on knowledge of ML concepts and development codes.
• Experience in Python, SQL, Supervised and Unsupervised learning, Gen AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models.
• Strong analytical mind with willingness to grow in data analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence (preferred).
• Proven track record of delivering analytical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

To Be Successful You Will

• Years of experience – 2-6 years. Experience in data science or programming, with a focus on Machine Learning.
• Understanding of Statistical concepts and their application in Machine Learning algorithms.
• Hands on knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and development codes.
• Experience in "Python, SQL, Supervised and Unsupervised learning, Gen AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models".
• Strong analytical mind and willing to enrich technical knowledge in the field of data analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Working experience on Jira and confluence (preferred).
• Proven track record of delivering/ deploying analytical solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
