Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited in India invites an experienced Data Scientist to join the team. The role focuses on model delivery using deep learning and applications such as customer propensity, CV, NLP, and AI.

You'll coordinate projects, ensure quality, mentor colleagues, and work with Python, SQL, and ML tools. We seek 2–6 years' experience and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related disciplines.
• Years of experience – 2-6 years. Experience in data science or programming, with a focus on Machine Learning.
• Understanding of Statistical concepts and their application in Machine Learning algorithms.
• Hands on knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and development codes.
• Experience in "Python, SQL, Supervised and Unsupervised learning, Gen Artifical Intelligence, Agentic AI, Large Language Model".
• Strong analytical mind and willing to enrich technical knowledge in the field of data analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Working experience on Jira and confluence (preferred).

• Understand and observe established policies and procedures in own team.
