Qualifications

• 2–6 years of data science or programming experience with a focus on Machine Learning.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and ML algorithms.
• Hands-on knowledge of ML concepts and development codes.
• Experience in Python, SQL, Supervised and Unsupervised learning, Gen Artifical Intelligence, Agentic AI, Large Language Model.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; Jira and Confluence preferred.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Scientist.

In this role, you will:

• The role-holder will provide specialist expertise in techniques for model delivery (e.g. Deep Learning) and /or their applications (e.g. Customer Propensity, Computer Vision, NLP). This includes understanding the factors (both internal and external) that drive the required model outcomes, and applying relevant techniques to design, develop, test, implement and monitor models.
• Co-ordinate and manage projects; typically operate on smaller projects/assignments.Devise strategies for delivery of larger projects.
• Implement company policy and contribute to the attainment of functional results.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of tasks/services provided by colleagues, involving regular process checks or review of output by a co-worker and/or supervisor.
• Provide advice and assistance through application of acquired knowledge.Identify and elevate issues.Communicate technical/sensitive information.
• Management responsibility for a team; including people, objective setting and performance.
• Take measures to provide for general guidance/direction to mentor members of the team or develop their skills.
• Understand and observe established policies and procedures in own team.

To be successful you will:

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related disciplines
• Years of experience – 2-6 years. Experience in data science or programming, with a focus on Machine Learning.
• Understanding of Statistical concepts and their application in Machine Learning algorithms.
• Hands on knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and development codes.
• Experience in "Python, SQL, Supervised and Unsupervised learning, Gen Artifical Intelligence, Agentic AI, Large Language Model".
• Strong analytical mind and willing to enrich technical knowledge in the field of data analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Working experience on Jira and confluence (preferred).
