Job summary

Expleo seeks a data scientist in India with hands-on data science experience, preferably in the automotive domain. You will work across data analysis, machine learning, and computer vision using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and the Python stack to build and evaluate models on sensor data.

Knowledge of GCP data engineering (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) and strong communication and leadership skills are essential for mentoring teammates and guiding project delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data science experience, automotive domain preferred.
• Proficiency with Python data science stack (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Experience with ML model development and evaluation (precision, recall, ROC).
• Familiarity with CV frameworks (OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Hands-on experience in Data Science preferably in automotive domain

Data Analysis & CV: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Plotly.

Machine Learning: Classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection.

Model Evaluation: Precision, recall, ROC, confusion matrix.

Automotive Domain: Deep understanding of sensors (Camera fundamentals, Radar, LiDAR, IMU, Thermal), strong calibration knowledge, and 3D geometry.

GCP Data Engineering: Expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub for data pipelines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and project management in a technical environment.
