Job summary

Expleo in Chennai is seeking a data science professional with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in automotive data science, focusing on CV and ML workflows. You will develop robust models and CV pipelines while collaborating across teams.

Proficiency in OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib and Plotly is expected, along with strong communication and leadership abilities. You will mentor teammates and drive project delivery in a technical environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Data Science preferably in automotive domain.
• Proficiency in data analysis and computer vision: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Plotly.
• Machine Learning: Classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection.
• Model Evaluation: Precision, recall, ROC, confusion matrix.
• Automotive Domain: Deep understanding of sensors (Camera fundamentals, Radar, LiDAR, IMU, Thermal), calibration knowledge, and 3D geometry.
• GCP Data Engineering: BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub for data pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and project management in a technical environment.

Required Skills & Experience:
