Job summary

Expleo in India is seeking a data science professional with hands-on automotive domain experience to drive advanced analytics, computer vision, and ML model development.

You will work with sensor data, calibration, and 3D geometry, while leveraging GCP services (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub) to build robust data pipelines, deploy scalable ML solutions, and mentor a growing team of data scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data science experience in the automotive domain.
• Proficient in data analysis and CV using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Plotly.
• Expertise in ML: classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.
• Model evaluation metrics: precision, recall, ROC, and confusion matrix.
• Deep understanding of sensors (camera, radar, LiDAR, IMU) and 3D geometry; calibration knowledge.
• GCP data engineering: BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub.
• Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Mentor colleagues and manage technical projects.

Job description

Hands-on experience in Data Science preferably in automotive domain

Data Analysis & CV: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Plotly.

Machine Learning: Classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection.

Model Evaluation: Precision, recall, ROC, confusion matrix.

Automotive Domain: Deep understanding of sensors (Camera fundamentals, Radar, LiDAR, IMU, Thermal), strong calibration knowledge, and 3D geometry.

GCP Data Engineering: Expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub for data pipelines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and project management in a technical environment.
