Job summary

Responsibilities

Internship Opportunity

WSAudiology is looking to hire 4 interns in Hyderabad to support our data and digital product initiatives. This will be one internship cohort, and interns will be allocated internally to data engineering, data analysis, or data science work based on skills and project needs.

This internship offers hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, data science fundamentals, and AI-assisted analysis. Interns will work on real projects, support delivery work, and learn how data products, dashboards, and platform capabilities are built and used.

What You Will Do

You will join a single internship cohort and be allocated internally to data engineering, data analysis, or data science-oriented work based on skills and project needs.

Gather and support delivery work

• Work on real-world projects with guidance from experienced developers and analysts.

• Support data science tasks such as exploratory analysis, feature preparation, hypothesis testing, and pattern detection.

• Assist with simple experimentation, model-assisted analysis, and interpretation of results using Python and notebooks.

• Support data engineering tasks such as pipeline development, data ingestion, validation, transformation, and issue resolution.

• Support data analysis tasks such as reporting, dashboarding, trend analysis, and insight generation.

• Assist with documentation, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of data products and analytical outputs.

Work with the team and tools

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data, engineering, and business functions.

• Gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Git, VS Code / Visual Studio, and related tools.

• Learn how data products, dashboards, and platform capabilities are built and used.

• Explore how AI methods, LLM-based tools, and data science techniques can support analysis, summarisation, business query exploration, and faster insight generation.

Grow into broader data work

• Take on small modules or features with increasing independence over time.

• Contribute to exploratory analysis, feature preparation, and simple data science experiments where relevant.

• Help turn ambiguous business questions into structured analysis approaches, measurable outcomes, and clear recommendations.

What you bring

Experience

• ME / MTech / BE / BTech in CSE with Data Science or an equivalent technical degree.

• Strong academic background with a minimum of 70% or CGPA 7.0+.

• Self-taught developers with solid portfolios are also encouraged to apply.

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of Python.

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational data concepts.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Eagerness to learn Databricks, Power BI, and related tools quickly.

• Interest in statistics, experimentation, feature engineering, or applied data science.

• Exposure to Azure Cloud services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, or Azure DevOps.

• Exposure to Power BI, .NET APIs, or ReactJS for simple internal dashboards.

• Personal projects, dashboards, or a GitHub profile.

Personal competencies

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Eagerness to learn and take responsibility.

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving attitude.

• Interest in automation, AI-assisted analysis, data engineering, or data science approaches for development and analysis.
