You will shape self-serve reporting, improve data reliability, and support operational and strategic decision-making with Power BI, Excel, and SQL in structured data workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst role.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience gathering reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Experience analyzing operational or financial business data.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Create recurring operational, claims, finance, sales, and policy reporting.
• Analyze business data and provide insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Leverage AI tools to improve reporting efficiency, documentation quality, data analysis, and business insights.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and analytical tasks using AI-assisted workflows.
• Pull, validate, and analyze data to answer stakeholder questions and support prioritization decisions.
• Investigate data discrepancies, anomalies, and data quality issues.
• Monitor key business metrics and identify unusual trends or reporting concerns.
• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, datasets, and reporting models.
• Support data validation and reconciliation activities across reporting outputs.
• Maintain analytics documentation, report definitions, and reporting SOPs.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and validation of reporting changes.
• Support reporting and analytics improvements within Vertafore SIG and other business systems.
• Assist with before-and-after analysis for business initiatives, process improvements, and operational changes.
