Presidio is growing! We’re looking for a Data Protection Team Lead to join our delivery team in Bengaluru.

The role is hands-on and requires leading global project delivery while ensuring excellent customer experiences across traditional, hyper-converged, or hybrid data center solutions. You will be SME on Data Center and Data Protection engagements, mentor engineers, manage time and billable targets, and collaborate with clients and peers to design, deploy, and support protective technologies

• Must have 10+ years of Data Center and Data Protection engineering experience with customer-facing engagements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.

• Lead projects and deployment of Data Center and Data Protection solutions for customers of all sizes.
• Mentor junior engineers on data center and data protection projects.
• Maintain a billable target of at least 70%.

Responsibilities Include:

• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout Data Center and Data Protection consulting engagements.
• Be a trusted advisor to internal and external clients and SMEs.
• Lead projects and the deployment of Data Center and Data Protection solutions for customers of all sizes and different design requirements.
• Leading conversations and technical white boarding sessions in front of clients and/or peers.
• Ability to excel both independently and with a cross-functional team of engineers on client projects and on-going professional services engagements.
• Ability to see a project through fruition from assignment to completion with minimal guidance.
• Maintain a billable target of at least 70%.
• Post implementation support and troubleshooting for clients on occasion.
• Technical writing skills to author professional documentation for client review.
• Peer review other engineers documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Ability to track, manage, and record time spent across numerous projects within the defined deadline(s).
• Mentor junior engineers on all of the various types of data center and data protection projects.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of Data Center and Data Protection engineering experience, including extensive experience in professional services consulting and customer-facing engagements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in VMware vSphere up to and including VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.
• Experience with some or all of the following Data Protection solutions: Veeam, Rubrik, Dell, Cohesity, Commvault, RecoverPoint for VMs (RP4VMs), Zerto
• Experience in architecting and implementing third-party Data Protection solutions in Azure and AWS for Cloud Native protection. These include but are not limited to: Rubrik Cloud Cluster, Rubrik Exocompute, Cohesity Data Cloud, Veeam Data Cloud, Rubrik Cloud Vault, Cohesity Fortknox
• Experience with some or all of the following storage platforms: Dell, HPE, Net App, Everpure
• Experience with some or all of the following: Cisco UCS, VMware VxRail, VMware vSAN, Nutanix
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and a desire to succeed.
• Relentless attention to detail.

Required Certifications:

• Must also be willing and able to contribute to the teams overall certification objectives and requirements, which are reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience:

• Technical certifications are strongly desired in VMware, Nutanix, Dell, AWS, Veeam, Rubrik, and/or Cohesity.
• Firm understanding of Data Center networking best practices & architecture.
• Experience with one or both of the following hypervisors: Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix Acropolis
• Experience with SAN Switching / Fabrics: Cisco MDS, Brocade, iSCSI
• Experience with Cloud technologies AWS, Azure, or Google: Migration Experience migrating variety of workloads; Architecture recommendations; Analysis, sizing, and cost estimate a plus; Developing maintenance processes - Automating cleanup, Resource group strategies; Deploying, configuring, and securing components - Storage accounts, Virtual machines, Backup vaults, Migrations, Web applications; Container runtime and orchestration Kubernetes, Docker; Storage solutions - FSXn for ONTAP, Dell Apex File & Block; VMC on AWS; Azure VMware Solution (AVS); NC2 on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with some scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
