Job summary

Sekuro Asia - An Insight Company is seeking a dynamic Privacy professional to oversee enterprise privacy initiatives for our Fintech client. You will ensure compliance with GDPR, PDPA and APAC regulations while promoting privacy awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities include maintaining RoPA and DFDs, performing DPIAs, handling DSRs, and guiding data transfers. A Law degree and privacy certifications are preferred; experience in privacy roles is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law and relevant privacy experience.
• Knowledge of GDPR, PDPA and APAC privacy regimes.
• Professional privacy certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee privacy initiatives across multiple regions including Asia-Pacific.
• Maintain records of processing activities and data flow mapping.
• Support regulatory compliance and privacy training for staff.

Job description

Our company's Fintech client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Privacy professional to oversee all aspects of privacy initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring the organization adheres to industry regulations, best practices, and internal policies while fostering privacy awareness among employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Support in identifying and maintaining a record of applicable data protection and privacy regulations in Taiwan, Singapore, Europe, China and other countries (where the organization has setup establishments or subsidiaries)
• Develop and implement data privacy policies and practices to support the Organisation’s privacy program
• Perform tasks identified by the DPO to drive, monitor and support the Organisation’s privacy program
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments for internal business process
• Perform data sharing reviews in-line with the applicable regulations for internal and external data transfers
• Manage Data Subject Rights (DSR)
• Develop and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) for critical business processes
• Collaborate with supporting functions such as Legal, IT, other security teams and business functions to stay up to date with new processes and policies
• Provide privacy training for all employees and contractors

Qualification:

• Technical expertise in implementing privacy tools such as One Trust
• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Proven experience in privacy roles
• Sound understanding of GDPR, Singapore’s PDPA and other data protection regulations in Asia Pacific region
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and changes in the privacy landscape
• Professional certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM etc., is preferred
