Job summary

Capgemini India is seeking a data privacy professional to lead privacy assessments, drive risk management, and advise on regulatory compliance across global programs. You will work with business, legal, security and operations teams to embed data protection into daily activities.

You will draft and negotiate data processing agreements, support privacy training, and contribute to client-facing proposals and RFPs by showcasing capability in global standards, controls and industry best practices,

Job Profile

• We are seeking a Data Privacy professional with strong expertise in privacy regulations, data protection frameworks, contract management, and compliance advisory.
• The ideal candidate should possess hands‑on experience in privacy assessments, risk management, regulatory compliance, and client‑facing consulting engagements.
• The role requires working closely with business, legal, security, and operational teams to ensure compliance with global privacy laws and industry standards while driving a culture of data protection across the organization

Job Role

• Drafting and negotiating client contracts and data processing agreements;
• Performing risk assessments based on widely accepted industry standards;
• Adept in performing privacy impact assessments basis the agreed contractual requirements and applicable privacy laws;
• Ensure that company policies are in compliance with codes of practice such as BCRs;
• Devise training plans and provide data protection advice to staff members;
• Exposure to working on proactive pitches and data privacy and security related RFPs and developing collaterals to showcase capabilities via creation of compelling business cases;
• Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across all units of the organization.
• Knowledge and exposure to various country specific privacy laws/ regulations and privacy standards/framework;
• Knowledge of basic data protection/ information security standards, practices, and principles.
