Job summary

Siemens in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP Data Migration specialist to drive ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations for Project Systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, mappings, and successful cutovers across global rollouts.

The role requires hands-on migration tooling expertise, ETL proficiency, and strong SQL/XQuery skills. You will contribute to data quality and reconciliation while supporting multi-location deployments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in SAP data migration projects (ECC to S/4HANA).
• Hands-on with SAP migration tools such as Syniti ADMM, LTMC, LTMOM, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS).
• Strong knowledge of ETL, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and data quality.
• Strong SAP PS knowledge including WBS, networks, budgeting, cost planning, settlement.
• Experience with PS integrations across FI/CO, MM, SD, PM modules.
• SQL for migration validation and reconciliation.
• ABAP debugging knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA data migration for SAP Project Systems (PS).
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading using migration tools and ETL frameworks.
• Develop data mapping documents, transformation rules, migration specifications, and reconciliation reports.
• Support mock data loads, testing cycles, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful migration delivery.
• Manage migration of PS transactional data, including networks, activities, budgets, cost plans, commitments and actual costs.
• Handle Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders linked to Projects, Service Entry Sheets, Revenue & Billing Plans, Open Project Transactions.

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration projects, preferably involving SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP migration tools and technologies such as:

  • SAP Migration Cockpit
  • SAP Data Services (BODS)
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, data transformation, reconciliation, and data quality management.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), including:
  • Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Networks
  • Budgeting
  • Cost Planning
  • Settlement Processes
• Experience working with PS integrations across FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM modules.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques for migration validation and reconciliation.
• SAP ABAP debugging knowledge is preferred.
• Experience supporting global SAP S/4HANA rollout programs is desirable.
• Exposure to large-scale data migration and transformation initiatives is an advantage.
• Understanding of project cost control and revenue recognition processes is preferred.
