Job summary

Infosys Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Data Management Consultant with 5–10 years of experience to support enterprise data initiatives. The role involves designing ETL and data warehouse solutions using ODI and Oracle Analytics Cloud, and delivering Proof of Concepts and solution demonstrations.

You will contribute to proposal development, plan configuration activities, and guide small projects to deliver client value in the digital transformation journey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on ODI experience and total IT experience 7+ years.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Experience in implementing or supporting data warehouse solutions.
• Translate business requirements into design specs.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• We are looking for candidates having a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and implementing ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and an overall 7+ years of IT industry experience
• The candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of Data Modeling concepts and techniques
• The candidate must possess work experience in implementing and/ or supporting data warehouse systems or solutions
• The candidate should have the ability to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into design specifications
