PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Data Engineer - Manager to transform raw data into actionable insights and design data infrastructure for efficient processing and analysis. You will lead teams, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients across geographies to deliver high-quality data solutions.

You will work with Apache Hadoop, Airflow, and Azure Data Factory while leveraging Databricks and Snowflake to enable scalable data pipelines and architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• English proficiency (oral and written) required.

As a Data Engineer - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision‑making and driving business growth. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members’ unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. • Leading teams in the strategic planning and execution of data engineering projects, confirming timely delivery and quality outcomes
• Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and performance in data engineering tasks
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to identify data challenges and propose innovative solutions
• Overseeing the deployment and maintenance of data warehouses, confirming data integrity and security
• Promoting the adoption of advanced technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices
• Analyzing system components to identify linkages and interactions, facilitating comprehensive data solutions

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
