PwC Acceleration Center India is hiring a Manager-level Azure/AWS Architect-Banking to lead the design and execution of cloud-based data solutions. You will guide cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and ensure on-time delivery while driving data modernization for diverse clients across geographies.

You will collaborate with global teams in Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services, applying cutting-edge cloud tech to deliver business value and sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on cloud/data engineering experience.

As an Azure/AWS Architect-Banking- Manager, you will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and architecting solutions that leverage the latest in cloud technology to drive business value. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will be at the forefront of data modernization efforts, helping clients transition to more efficient and scalable cloud infrastructures.

As a Manager, you will guide and develop teams, manage client accounts, and oversee project execution. You will be responsible for strategic planning and mentoring junior staff, confirming that projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, while upholding the firm’s standards and values. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities for growth and development within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Azure and AWS platforms
• Managing data engineering projects to support client data modernization initiatives
• Developing and optimizing data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory
• Overseeing the integration and transformation of data from various sources into data lakes and warehouses
• Implementing database management and optimization strategies to enhance performance and security
• Guiding teams in the application of data anonymization and validation techniques to maintain data quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data engineering solutions
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff to develop their technical skills and project management capabilities
• Utilizing analytical thinking to solve complex data challenges and improve client outcomes
• Promoting the adoption of cloud-based analytics platforms like Databricks and Snowflake for enhanced insights generation

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
