Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on with modern data platforms such as Databricks, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with data modelling, governance and building data products.

Responsibilities

• Create scalable, production-ready data solutions delivering measurable business value.
• Interface between application development teams and enterprise data platform teams.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines across SAP S/4, engineering systems and external sources.
• Enable data ingestion, transformation and provisioning on SAP Datasphere, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with data platform teams to integrate requirements with Delta Lake, Spark, semantic layers and reporting.
• Develop and maintain data models, data products and data services for analytics, AI and digital engineering.
• Ensure high data quality, monitoring, governance and reusable data engineering patterns.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role you will create scalable and production-ready data solutions that deliver measurable business value and accelerate data-driven digitalization initiatives
• You will act as a key interface between application development teams and enterprise data platform teams, translating business and engineering needs into reliable data pipelines, curated data products, and reusable data services
• Moreover, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines across enterprise landscapes, including SAP S/4, engineering systems, and external data sources
• And you will enable reliable data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning on platforms such as SAP Datasphere / SAP Business Data Cloud, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
• You will collaborate with data platform teams to integrate application-layer requirements with platform capabilities such as Delta Lake, Spark, semantic layers, and reporting layers
• You will develop and maintain data models, data products, and data services supporting analytics, AI, and digital engineering applications
• Also you will ensure high data quality, monitoring, governance, and reusable data engineering patterns across the capture-transform-curate-consume lifecycle

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You have strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• You have experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data processing
• You have hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, SAP Datasphere / SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable cloud data platforms
• Further, you have experience with data modelling, data governance, and building data products
• In addition you have a good understanding of how high-quality data enables analytics, AI/ML, reporting, and digital applications in production environments (understanding of SAP data landscapes is a strong plus)
• You have a strong ownership and problem-solving mindset with an agile working style focused on measurable business value
• You have good communication skills and the ability to work across teams, acting as a bridge between application development, business stakeholders, and platform/data teams
• And you have a structured approach to data quality, governance, monitoring, and standardization
