Job summary

Team Computers Pvt Ltd in Gurugram seeks a data center inventory and asset management professional responsible for maintaining BOM verification reports, updating rack diagrams, and ensuring data center hygiene. You will manage inbound/outbound materials, cabling, and cross-connects, while coordinating with vendors and DC service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

The role involves updating MIS monthly, maintaining spare hardware details, and ensuring ticket updates for not resolved

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations and inventory management.
• Familiarity with BOM verification and asset tracking processes.
• Strong coordination with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and update asset inventory across racks.
• Check physical network connectivity and LED indicators on servers/devices.
• Access device consoles for remote management and report issues to owners.

Inventory management,Requests to check physical network connectivityPlug in to a console port for remote management by customerRequests to check the physical LED/ other indicators on the servers & devices. Send information to respective device owners & follow-up till get resolutionIssuing gate pass to the vendors and escorting vendors to the cage.Inward and outward materials and informing the asset team and respective teams as per defined process.Getting involved in BOM verification and helping vendors for mounting the devices. Ensure the BOM verification reports are sent to all concerned and maintained with the DC team.Raise calls with DC Service providers for any DC facilities related issues.Getting the cabling done in DC as requested from respective vendors along with the cabling vendor.Ensuring Data Centre hygiene is maintained.Updating of rack diagram and updating and maintaining asset inventory,Maintaining cabling detailsUpdate/Manage inventory FDMS and cross-connects of each rack of various customers,Maintaining MIS of every month.Maintain Inventory. - Weekly & Activity based,Maintain Vendor Contact & Escalation Matrix.Should have handy customer contact details,The Faulty Hardware details to be maintained,The Spare hardware details to be maintained.Maintain the Stores Inventory and update the customer,Check the tickets in Not Resolved state.Update the tickets with the latest updates.
