Job summary

Zentech Info Solutions is seeking a data analyst to turn raw business data into clear, actionable insights that guide strategy. You will build dashboards and reports, write SQL queries, and collaborate across departments to understand data needs.

You will create visualizations in Power BI or Tableau, develop advanced Excel models, document findings, and present to non-technical audiences. Strong problem solving and data storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience in data analysis, MIS, or reporting.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query.
• Experience building dashboards/reports in Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences.

About the role:

• Transform raw business data into clear, actionable insights that guide company strategy

What you'll work on:

• Writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
• Creating visualizations in Power BI or Tableau that tell a data story
• Developing advanced Excel models using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query
• Documenting findings and presenting them to non-technical audiences
• Troubleshooting data issues and ensuring report accuracy

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business analysis, MIS, reporting, or a similar function
• Mastery of Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query
• Solid understanding of SQL for querying and data extraction
• Experience building dashboards or reports in Power BI or Tableau
• Strong logical thinking and ability to solve problems systematically
• Comfort communicating complex data to people of all technical levels
• Python basics are a bonus but not essential
