Job summary

Sembridge seeks an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale data platforms with a strong focus on Snowflake. You will drive architecture decisions and partner with clients on modern data solutions.

The role requires hands-on Snowflake expertise, a valid Snowflake certification, and strong leadership in client workshops, architecture reviews, and roadmaps across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture/data engineering.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience and a valid Snowflake certification.
• Proficient in Snowflake, SQL, Python, data modeling, and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with dbt and modern data pipelines.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and modernize enterprise Snowflake data architectures.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, security, and analytics architecture.
• Work with Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streams, Tasks, dbt, and modern orchestration tools.
• Design cloud-based lakehouse and real-time data solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Drive performance, cost optimization, security, governance, and observability.
• Lead client workshops, architecture reviews, presentations, and technical roadmaps.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute to architecture, POCs, troubleshooting, and implementation where required.

Sembridge is looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale data platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and hold a valid Snowflake certification. This role requires a combination of architecture expertise, hands-on technical knowledge, and strong client-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and modernize enterprise Snowflake data architectures.

• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake Cortex, Iceberg Tables, and AI-ready architectures.
• Terraform, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Additional Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Advanced.
