Job summary

Epam Systems in Chennai seeks an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Snowflake, collaborating with data scientists to productionize ML workflows and optimize data processing with Snowpark and SnowSQL.

You will deploy Snowflake on AWS or Azure, ensure data governance and security best practices, and work with Airflow and DBT to orchestrate and transform data.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in data engineering with 4+ years Snowflake hands-on experience.
• Proficient in Snow SQL, Snow PLSQL and Snowpark for query development and data apps.
• Advanced Python for data engineering.
• Proficient with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Familiar with Apache Airflow and DBT for orchestration and modeling.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our data engineering team and drive the design, development and maintenance of scalable data solutions using Snowflake's cloud data platform. This role requires expertise in modern data engineering practices, cloud technologies and AI/ML integration within the Snowflake ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data pipelines using Snowflake's native capabilities

Requirements

• Advanced skills in Python programming with a focus on data engineering
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and DBT for data transformation and modeling
