Job summary

ABB in Bengaluru seeks an AI Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design across data analytics, AI, GenAI, and rapid app development. You will coordinate front-end, back-end, and AI components, ensure cybersecurity and cloud readiness, and guide a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and prompt engineers.

You will work with global stakeholders, shape project plans, and oversee development, testing, and deployment to production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software solution development and data leadership.
• Proven track record of two global product rollouts.
• Experience with Agile teams and modern AI tools.
• Strong cybersecurity and cloud technology understanding.
• Master's degree in Computer Science required.

This Position reports to:

AI Solution architect

n this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead the solution design and provide oversight for development, testing, operational readiness, and implementation of solutions.
• Responsible for design to release, solution roll-out, and designing front-end, back-end, and AI components, considering cybersecurity aspects and cloud technologies.
• Define the solution, guide data scientists, ML engineers, and prompt engineers, and enable the successful rollout of the solution, demonstrating a research/experimental mindset.
• Oversee the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and models to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and drive decision-making.
• Lead technology demonstrator initiatives on leading cloud platforms and evolve the project plan.

Qualifications For The Role

• Strong solution and design expertise in the areas of data analytics, AI, GenAI, and rapid application development.
• At least 8+ years of experience in software solution development, with at least 5+ years of exposure in deep tech as a data lead and data specialist.
• Must have played the role of a specialist and led at least two successful global product/solution rollouts.
• Worked with Agile teams, with hands‑on experience in recent tools and technologies (e.g., AI engines - LLM, SLM, DevOps, Copilots).
• Exposure to working with global stakeholders while demonstrating technology leadership.
• Master’s degree in computer science.
