Job summary

ABB seeks a software-enabled professional to coordinate digital solution onboarding in a hybrid role based in India. You will manage product data and configuration for digital platforms, contribute to development ideation, and ensure successful releases while liaising with Sales Enablement, R&D, and Product Management.

You will engage in software development activities as needed and help shape the product roadmap with feature ideas, ensuring timely delivery and quality across customer

Qualifications

• Experience in product data management or similar (PLM, manufacturing, or sales configurators).
• Experience with Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) systems or sales configurators.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate development, implementation, and onboarding of digital solutions.
• Support product data and configuration management of digital platform and solutions into the customer environment and operations.
• Participate in ideation workstreams from identifying needs to defining development.
• Test and troubleshoot final product data and configuration model setup and ensure successful release.
• Contribute to the software product roadmap and portfolio with new features and variants.

Main stakeholders are Sales, R&D and Product management.You will be mainly accountable for:Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in one or more areas of the assigned areas such as product data management, configuration model management and development. In addition, where needed software development, software quality engineering, software testing, support and maintenance, and/or release management, with limited supervision.Testing and troubleshooting the final product data and configuration model setup and ensuring its successful release and possible product rollouts providing subsequent ongoing support and services.Ensuring that all required product data management activities are completed to implement software on-time.Contributing to the software product roadmap and portfolio through suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.You will join a highly motivated and innovative team that is setting high standards for strategic digitalization development.Qualifications for the role :You are well established and motivated in supporting and delivering high quality software solutions.Experience minium 5 ro 8 Years rangeAbility to demonstrate your experience in product data management or similar, such as PLM or manufacturing or sales configurators.Experience in working with or alternatively developing sales process technologies, such as Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) systems or sales configurators.
