Job summary

Carrier Bangalore is seeking a Data & Analytics Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end data and analytics initiatives, building enterprise data and AI capabilities to enable secure, scalable, high-quality data-driven decisions.

You will work with architecture, platform, DevOps and cloud teams to design, implement, and govern data models, pipelines, and integration frameworks using Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Looker, ensuring performance, cost efficiency and security.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data architectures and analytics solution design.
• Strong proficiency with GCP and Snowflake.
• Experience with data ingestion patterns across relational and non-relational systems (SAP/JDE/Oracle/Salesforce/Ariba/MongoDB/IoT).

Responsibilities

About The Role

Builds enterprise data and AI capabilities to enable secure, scalable, and high-quality data-driven decisions. Applies AI/ML, automation, and strong governance to drive efficiency and business value.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution design for complex data and analytics initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, optimal costs and security.
• Work closely with architecture group to maintain & ensure best practice paradigms and provide impact assessments & solution recommendations as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data pipelines, and integration frameworks using modern technologies (e.g. Google Cloud, Snowflake).
• Evaluate and recommend analytics tools, platforms, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency

Role Purpose

• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new platform/solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, data engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers.
• Collaborate closely with platform, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams to enable automation-driven deployments.
• Review solution designs, conduct architecture assessments, and provide impact analysis and recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of overall experience having hands-on expertise with data architectures, analytics solution designing and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in cloud data platforms/engineering services using GCP & Snowflake. Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Dataproc, Looker)
• Snowflake (data warehouse, data sharing, performance optimization)Proficiency with design patterns involving structured & semi-structured data and data ingestion patterns involving relational & non-relational systems like SAP/JDE/Oracle/Salesforce/Ariba/MongoDB/IoT systems etc.
