Job Description

• Design and implement modern data architectures aligned with product strategies and business objectives
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms including data lakes, warehouses, and analytical stores
• Architect data models, pipelines, and integration patterns across APIs, streaming, and ETL/ELT frameworks
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical data solutions
• Enable reusable data components and services to accelerate product delivery and reduce duplication
• Establish data governance, quality, and metadata frameworks to ensure trust and compliance
• Participate in architecture reviews and maintain best practices across data ecosystems
• Drive adoption of DataOps practices for improved efficiency, automation, and reliability
• Evaluate and implement modern tools and technologies for evolving data and AI requirements
• Optimise cloud data environments for cost, scalability, and performance efficiency

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related domains
• Strong hands‑on expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure and modern data solutions like Snowflake
• Deep understanding of data modelling, metadata management, lineage, and governance
• Experience in building data platforms supporting analytics, AI, and product-based solutions
• Familiarity with integration techniques including APIs, streaming, and microservices architectures
• Exposure to modern tools such as Power BI, Informatica, and orchestration frameworks
• Understanding of AI/ML and generative AI architecture implications
• Experience working in agile, product-driven environments with cross-functional collaboration
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions
