Job summary

Carrier in Bangalore seeks a Data & Analytics Solutions Architect to lead enterprise data and AI initiatives, drive scalable data platforms, and govern data-driven decisions. You will mentor architects, engineers, and AI specialists while partnering with DevOps and cloud teams to enable automated deployments.

The role emphasizes migration from legacy systems to modern platforms, with a focus on secure, high-quality data solutions using Google Cloud and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of overall experience with data architectures and analytics solution design.
• Proficiency in cloud data platforms using GCP & Snowflake.
• Knowledge of SAP/JDE/Oracle/Salesforce/Ariba/MongoDB/IoT systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution design for complex data and analytics initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, optimal costs and security.
• Work closely with architecture group to maintain best practice paradigms and provide impact assessments & solution recommendations.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data pipelines, and integration frameworks using modern technologies (e.g. Google Cloud, Snowflake).
• Evaluate and recommend analytics tools, platforms, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency

About the role

Builds enterprise data and AI capabilities to enable secure, scalable, and high-quality data-driven decisions. Applies AI/ML, automation, and strong governance to drive efficiency and business value.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution design for complex data and analytics initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, optimal costs and security.

Role Purpose

Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new platform/solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, data engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers. Collaborate closely with platform, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams to enable automation-driveriven deployments. Review solution designs, conduct architecture assessments, and provide impact analysis and recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.


• 12+ years of overall experience having hands‑on expertise with data architectures, analytics solution designing and implementation.


• Strong proficiency in cloud data platforms/engineering services using GCP & Snowflake.


• Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Dataproc, Looker)


• Snowflake (data warehouse, data sharing, performance optimization)


• Proficiency with design patterns involving structured & semi‑structured data and data ingestion patterns involving relational & non-relational systems like SAP/JDE/Oracle/Salesforce/Ariba/MongoDB/IoT systems etc.
