Propelld is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join its Treasury Mid Office team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in financial data analysis and treasury operations and possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex financial datasets related to loan performance, treasury transactions, and customer portfolios. Your insights will directly support debt strategy, liquidity planning, financial reporting, and operational optimisation.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to present data‑driven insights to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Gather, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources, including:
Loan performance data
Customer financial data
Treasury transactions
Debt and lending alliance records
Ensure financial data integrity and consistency.
Use Excel for advanced financial analysis, including:
Pivot tables
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
Macros
Complex financial formulas
Scenario modelling
Automate recurring treasury reports.
Build and maintain automated financial reports.
Develop interactive dashboards using Excel and Tableau.
Track key treasury KPIs such as liquidity ratios, cost of funds, debt utilisation, and portfolio performance.
Use SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets.
Support data validation processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Analyse treasury operations and debt management metrics.
Identify trends in borrowing costs, repayment cycles, and financial risk exposure.
Provide actionable insights to improve capital efficiency and operational performance.
Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis for financial strategy evaluation.
Support data‑backed decision‑making across product, marketing, and operations.
Present analytical findings to senior management.
Translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance overall financial performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
MBA / CA / CFA preferred.

2–3 years of experience as a Treasury Analyst or Data Analyst.
Experience in fintech, NBFC, or financial services environment preferred.
A strong understanding of treasury operations and financial numbers is mandatory.
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
