About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Data Analyst Intern based in Mumbai (IIT Bombay), with potential promotion to full-time position after 6 months based on performance. The candidate will be responsible for testing and validating our AI-powered software platform and performing regular analysis of metabolomics datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform untargeted and targeted metabolomics data processing, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
• Collaborate, communicate and present metabolomics results to the internal as well as external groups.
• Support the software development team by providing critical feedback.
• Assist in writing research articles in peer reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Active participation in technical discussions and problem solving.

Compensation:

The stipend will be in the range of ₹20,000–₹30,000/month, depending on skill set and aligned with industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Bioinformatics, or equivalent in Life Sciences.
• Candidates with expertise in data analysis of mass spectrometry-based untargeted and targeted metabolomics using MS-Dial, XCMS, etc., and statistical analysis of omics data, will be preferred.
• Demonstrated capacity for working both individually and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Must be self‑driven, capable of multitasking, and productively meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in technical design or science-focused infographics.
• Familiarity with social media content creation (especially LinkedIn).
• Some exposure to marketing communication or content strategy.
