About the Role

We are looking for a Scientific Design & Marketing Intern based in Mumbai (IITBombay), with potential promotion to a full-time position after 3 months based onperformance. The ideal candidate will combine a strong grasp of biology/biotech withproven design skills. Your primary responsibility will be to create clear, compellingtechnical illustrations and infographics for scientific and industry audiences. You willalso support broader marketing efforts, including social media content and campaignmaterials.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating scientific diagrams, infographics, and illustrations for our website, brochures, decks, and reports
• Designing pitch decks and presentations for clients, partners, and investors
• Producing visual content for social media posts and marketing campaigns
• Assisting in organizing materials for outreach—conference booths, webinars, and demos
• Supporting visual branding across digital and print formats

Compensation:

The stipend will be in the range of ₹20,000–₹40,000/month, depending on skill set and aligned with industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• UG/PG in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences, with strong design skills
• Ability to convert technical content into visually compelling and scientifically accurate illustrations Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Canva, knowledge of Blender is a plus
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, and design for both digital and print media
• Ability to follow direction, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively
• Interest in communicating science to peers, clients, and stakeholders through visuals

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in technical design or science-focused infographics
• Familiarity with social media content creation (especially LinkedIn)
• Some exposure to marketing communication or content strategy
