Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a data strategy professional to support enterprise data governance, analytics, and documentation efforts in a hybrid setting. You will help define standards, artifacts, and playbooks while partnering with governance, engineering, and business teams to align on priorities. Travel up to 10% may be involved.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1+ years of data analysis or strategy experience, with strong data storytelling skills.

Job description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

Support development, documentation, and maintenance of enterprise data strategy artifacts, standards, and frameworks.

Research industry trends, tools, and leading practices in data management, governance, and analytics to inform strategic recommendations.

Assist with roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and reporting on data strategy initiatives.

Develop and maintain reference materials, playbooks, templates, and standards documentation for enterprise data practices.

Compile and analyze metrics that measure adoption, maturity, and value of enterprise data capabilities.

Partner with governance, engineering, delivery, and business teams to gather input and align on strategic priorities.

Support enablement and communication activities, including training materials, internal marketing content, and stakeholder updates.

Assist with evaluation of data platform, catalog, and data management tooling to support capability decisions.

Support responsible use of AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to accelerate research, analysis, and documentation.

Follow enterprise governance, security, privacy, and quality expectations for assigned work.

Works effectively across teams and maintains a customer- and stakeholder-focused approach.

What you will need:

• Required Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related discipline required.
• 1+ years of experience in data analysis, data strategy, data governance, analytics, or a related data discipline.
• Experience researching, documenting, and communicating standards, processes, or recommendations.
• Ability to analyze data and information, draw conclusions, and present findings clearly.
• Familiarity with data management, governance, and analytics concepts and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage assigned tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups.

Preferred Skills / Tools:

• Experience with SQL, data cataloging, or data governance and quality tooling preferred.
• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud analytics) and metadata or catalog tools preferred.
• Data management, governance, or analytics certification (e.g., DAMA/CDMP, cloud data fundamentals) preferred.

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
