Job summary

IFF is seeking a Data Analyst - Demand Planning to support global planning through advanced analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting. The role collaborates with Demand Planning, Commercial, Finance, and IT to improve forecast accuracy and planning maturity.

Fully remote work model offered across regions. Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting monthly Demand Reviews with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related analytical field.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Analytics, or BI.
• Strong experience with large datasets, reporting solutions, and performance measurement.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of data analysis, dashboard development, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze demand planning performance indicators, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Forecast Value Add, and other planning metrics.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, reports, and performance monitoring solutions for business reviews.
• Perform root cause analysis on forecast deviations, planning gaps, and operational issues to identify improvements.
• Analyze demand patterns, customer trends, product performance, and key drivers to generate actionable insights.
• Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and integrity of planning information.
• Support monthly Demand Review and business review processes through data-driven recommendations and reporting.
• Partner with planners, commercial, finance, supply planning, and IT on reporting, analytics, and initiatives.
• Contribute to planning transformations, new capability deployments, process improvements, testing, and adoption.
• Document reporting methodologies, KPI definitions, governance, and analytical processes.

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong experience working with large datasets, reporting solutions, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

• Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) Demand Planning.
• Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Demand Review processes.
• Experience with SQL and advanced data querying techniques.
• Familiarity with forecasting performance metrics, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, and Forecast Value Add.
• Experience within global, matrixed organizations supporting cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting OTC Scent & Taste and/or PWB business processes.
