Job summary

IFF is seeking a Data Analyst – Demand Planning to support global planning through advanced analytics, performance reporting, and continuous improvement. You will partner with Demand Planning, Commercial, Supply Planning, Finance, IT and external stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and planning maturity in a fully remote environment.

You will monitor KPIs, develop dashboards, perform root cause analysis, analyze demand patterns and consolidate data from multiple sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related analytical discipline.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, BI, or Analytics.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with dashboards/metrics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze demand planning performance indicators (Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, FVAdd).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
• Perform root cause analysis on forecast deviations and planning gaps.
• Analyze demand patterns, customer trends, and key drivers to generate actionable insights.
• Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources for accuracy and integrity.
• Support monthly Demand Review and business reviews with data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with planners, Commercial, Finance, and IT on reporting initiatives.
• Contribute to planning transformations and new capability deployments.
• Document reporting methodologies, KPI definitions, and governance standards.

The team partners across regions, functions, and business units to improve planning outcomes, strengthen forecasting capabilities, and support business growth through fact-based decision-making.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Monitor and analyze demand planning performance indicators, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Forecast Value Add, and other planning metrics.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, reports, and performance monitoring solutions that support business reviews and decision-making.
• Perform root cause analysis on forecast deviations, planning gaps, and operational performance issues to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze demand patterns, customer trends, product performance, and key business drivers to generate actionable insights.
• Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of planning information.
• Support monthly Demand Review and business review processes through data-driven recommendations and performance reporting.
• Partner with planners, commercial teams, finance, supply planning, and technology stakeholders on reporting, analytics, and planning initiatives.
• Contribute to planning transformations, new capability deployments, process improvements, testing activities, and business adoption efforts.
• Document reporting methodologies, key performance indicator definitions, governance standards, and analytical processes.

What Makes You The Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related analytical discipline.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong experience working with large datasets, reporting solutions, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data analysis, dashboard development, reporting automation, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.

How Would You Stand Out

• Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) Demand Planning.
• Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Demand Review processes.
• Experience with SQL and advanced data querying techniques.
• Familiarity with forecasting performance metrics, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, and Forecast Value Add.
• Experience within global, matrixed organizations supporting cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting OTC Scent & Taste and/or PWB business processes.
• Knowledge of MyBIS reporting environments, analytics solutions, and planning data structures.
