Job summary

Serosoft Solutions Pvt Ltd in Indore is seeking a data analyst with 3+ years to transform data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with management, product, and business stakeholders to drive data-backed decisions through analytics, reporting, and visualization.

Responsibilities include building dashboards with Power BI, performing statistical analyses, extracting data from Excel and MySQL, and mentoring junior team members to ensure timely delivery of analytics outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; 3+ years of hands-on data analysis and visualization.
• Experience in SaaS/ERP/EdTech is a strong plus.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms preferred.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and BI tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present analytical reports highlighting trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights.
• Analyze datasets with statistical models to deliver business insights.
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports using Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
• Translate reporting requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
• Design data models, reporting frameworks, and dashboards ensuring data accuracy.
• Extract and manage data from Excel and MySQL databases.

• Develop predictive models to assess performance and outcomes.
• Provide timely data insights to support decision-making.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analystwith 3+ years of experience to transform data into actionable insights. The roleinvolves working closely with management, product, and business stakeholders todrive data-backed decision-making through advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present analytical reports for management highlighting trends, patterns, anomalies, and predictive insights.
• Analyze complex datasets using statistical models and algorithms to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and data visualizations using Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
• Work closely with the product and business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
• Design and implement data models, reporting frameworks, and standard dashboards ensuring technical feasibility and data accuracy.
• Extract, acquire, and manage data from multiple sources including Excel and MySQL databases.
• Clean, validate, and maintain datasets by applying appropriate data cleansing and transformation techniques.
• Maintain data integrity and relationships across multiple datasets.
• Develop predictive and analytical models to assess business performance and outcomes.
• Provide timely and accurate data insights to stakeholders to support decision-making, action planning, and continuous improvement.
• Guide, mentor, and support junior team members; assist in task planning and daily work coordination where required.
• Ensure on-time delivery of analytics outputs as per business requirements.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Experience working in SaaS, ERP, or EdTech domains is a strong plus.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and data querying techniques.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Python / R / SAS for data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling is preferred.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and reporting structures.
• Experience in defining KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation abilities.
• Prior experience in mentoring or leading analytics team members is an added advantage.
