Responsibilities

Power BI Development

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using DAX and Power Query
• Build effective data models and maintain version control with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing reports/dashboards, ensuring timely data refresh

SQL & Data Handling

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
• Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrityCollaborate with IT/data engineering teams on data availability and access

Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions with the Analytics Lead and functional teams
• Deliver assigned tasks on schedule within project timelines
• Maintain standardized documentation, visual design guidelines, and reusable templates

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
  • Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles
  • Strong understanding of data visualization concepts
  • Good understanding of relational databases, data cleaning, and transformation techniques
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Language skills in English required.
• Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
  • Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems is preferred.
  • Power BI certifications are a plus.
  • Hands on experience of creating Power Automate workflows would be a plus.
