Role and responsibilities
Basic understanding of chemical synthesis processes and ability to quickly learn process details from literature, patents, and internal documents.
Prepare SOPs based on defined process parameters and support lab/pilot execution as per SOP.
Maintain and update technical documents related to equipment and processes as work progresses.
Support development and review of PFDs and P&IDs with focus on actual process flow, equipment setup, and operability.
Execute installation and commissioning of MakSpeed equipment at customer sites and provide hands‑on training for operation and basic troubleshooting.
Carry out process trials and development work using batch setups and continuous flow reactors, including data recording and basic analysis.
Should be willing to travel and must be handy with tools.
Skills and Experience Required
B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute with consistent academic performance.
2–4 years of relevant experience in chemical/process engineering, preferably in a production environment.
Prior experience in roles such as Production Engineer or Process Engineer will be an added advantage.
Exposure to flow chemistry, R&D, or continuous processing will be preferred.
Good understanding of core Chemical Engineering subjects such as Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, and Process Calculations, with ability to apply them in practical situations.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with ability to present technical information in a simple and structured manner.
Ability to quickly understand MakSpeed products (flow reactors, dosing pumps, heating/cooling circulators) and relate them to customer processes and problem‑solving needs.
