Job summary

GSR Business Services seeks a proactive Test Automation Engineer to join our agile team in Bengaluru. You will develop automation scripts and frameworks for Lab Diagnostics products, and design test scripts covering API, UI and integration levels.

Collaboration with development engineers and a strong tester mindset are essential. You will work with Cypress, Mocha, Jasmine, JavaScript, Chai, Applitools, Jest, and BDD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BE/BTech/MCA/MTech.
• 4–6 years of experience in test automation.
• Expertise in test techniques: black box, grey box, white box.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Automation scripts/framework for Lab Diagnostics products.
• Develop Test scripts using Cypress.
• Design and execute test scripts at API, UI and integration levels.
• Integrate tests with CI pipeline and monitor failures.
• Maintain and refine automated tests for high coverage.
• Report defects and track fixes to closure.
• Perform manual testing as required.

• To develop Test Automation scripts/framework for Lab Diagnostics products
• Develop Test scripts using Cypress
• Design and execute test scripts, API, UI and Integration level for system and sub-system components
• Experience in FlaUI UI testing of windows application is an added advantage
• Integration with CI pipeline and monitoring, triaging the failures
• Maintain integration test suite with quality and continuous improvement mindset
• Refine automated tests to ensure high test coverage
• Report errors in bug tracking tool and track the issues to closure including support of defect investigation, validate defect fixes and analyze impact of fixes.
• Perform defect analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Create test documentation including test specification, impact analysis and summarize reports
• Perform manual tests as required by the project
