We are looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with strong expertise in automotive cybersecurity, connected vehicles, embedded systems security, threat analysis, risk assessment, and cybersecurity compliance across the vehicle development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cybersecurity engineering activities for vehicle systems, ECUs, connected vehicle platforms, telematics, and OTA solutions, define and manage cybersecurity requirements for automotive products, develop Cybersecurity Concepts and Technical Security Concepts in compliance with ISO/SAE 21434, conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) activities, identify cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies, drive the implementation of security controls throughout the product development lifecycle, define cybersecurity architectures for automotive embedded systems and connected vehicle solutions, design secure communication mechanisms for CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and Diagnostics Interfaces, support implementation of Secure Boot, Secure Diagnostics, Secure Firmware Updates, Cryptographic Services, PKI, and Key Management, collaborate with system, software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure security-by-design principles, ensure compliance with UNECE R155, UNECE R156, ASPICE Cybersecurity, and customer requirements, support cybersecurity audits, reviews, and compliance assessments, review penetration testing and vulnerability assessment results, track security findings and drive closure, coordinate with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and cross-functional teams, and mentor junior cybersecurity engineers.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in ISO/SAE 21434, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), Cybersecurity Risk Management, Cybersecurity Concept Development, Vulnerability Assessment & Mitigation, Secure Product Development Lifecycle, Automotive Embedded Systems Security, Connected Vehicles, Telematics, OTA (FOTA/SOTA), ECU Development Lifecycle, Vehicle Diagnostics, Security Architecture Design, Cryptography & Encryption, PKI & Certificate Management, Authentication & Authorization, Key Management, Secure Boot, and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
Tools & Technologies: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, DoIP, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Polarion, DOORS, Jira, Confluence, Security Testing & Vulnerability Assessment Tools.
Experience with UNECE R155/R156 Compliance, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), ASPICE Processes, Cloud Security for Connected Vehicle Platforms, Cybersecurity Verification & Validation, Penetration Testing, Supplier Cybersecurity Management, and Automotive OEM/Tier-1 Development Programs.
BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech – Electronics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline.
