Job summary

LG Electronics in Bengaluru is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in the automotive domain, preferably in automotive cybersecurity. You will work on secure architecture, threat modeling (TARA, STRIDE), and security requirements across CAN, Ethernet, and diagnostics.

The role requires deep knowledge of ISO21434, ASPICE CS, UNECE R155/R156, and experience with security testing and CI/CD integration. B.Tech in EEE/EC/CS or MCA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in the automotive cybersecurity domain.
• Hands-on expertise with ISO21434 and security architecture.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and diagnostics.
• Experience in threat modeling (TARA, STRIDE) and security management.
• Proficiency in source code analysis and debugging in C.
• Familiarity with CSMS, CIA, and cyber security processes.
• Knowledge of ASPICE CS (MAN7, SEC1, SEC2) and UNECE R155/R156.
• Understanding of RED article 3.3d certification and cyber security test suites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cyber security requirements for automotive systems.
• Contribute to threat modeling and security architecture design.
• Assess security features and integration across CAN, Ethernet, and diagnostics.
• Support validation, testing, and compliance with ISO21434 and UNECE standards.

• Very good knowledge on Security features ( Secure boot, Firewall ,TLS,PKI etc)
• Good knowledge on automotive protocols like CAN, Ethernet, Diagnostics
• Hand on experience on Requirement management, Security management, TARA, STRIDE, Security Architecture
• Source code analysis experience with Debugging on C
• Good to have CSMS, CIA, Plan (Cyber security management) process knowledge
• Good to have ASPICE CS (Cyber Security) MAN7, SEC1, SEC2 knowledge
• Good to have UNECE R155/R156 experience
• Good to have knowledge/experience on RED article 3.3d certification
