Axiscades Engineering Technologies seeks an engineering professional to validate automotive cybersecurity tests and ECU diagnostics. You will verify PVAL compliance, analyze logs, and ensure traceability from requirements to test results.

Strong experience with CAN, UDS, SOME/IP and TCP/IP networks is expected. The role involves applying penetration testing methods, vulnerability analysis, and threat modeling to secure automotive systems, with emphasis on secure boot, authentication, and key

Qualifications

• Experience in validating complex automotive systems and tests.
• Strong knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, UDS and diagnostic protocols.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability analysis and threat modeling.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, Burp Suite).
• Ability to analyze logs, traffic, and system responses and report remediation clearly.

Responsabilités

• Analyze PVAL & nomination compliance matrices and verify requirement-test applicability.
• Perform ECU diagnostics validation and NRC code checks for test validation.
• Review logs and validate test results to ensure correct execution.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, tests and results.
• Conduct cybersecurity testing including risk analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.

Skills expected:

• To analyze PVAL & nomination compliance matrices and verify requirement-test applicability.
• ECU diagnostics (UDS), session control, and NRC codes for test validation.
• Log review and result validation to ensure correct test execution.
• Traceability between requirements, tests, and results
• ECU cybersecurity validation, especially diagnostic security (UDS), secure sessions, and access control.
• SoC/MAC security concepts (communication security, authentication, message integrity).
• Cybersecurity testing methods, including penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and log validation.
• Strong knowledge of ethical hacking, penetration testing methodologies, and tools (Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, Burp Suite).
• Deep understanding of automotive protocols (CAN, UDS, SOME/IP, DoIP,Ethernet) and ECU behavior.
• Expertise in vulnerability analysis, exploit techniques, and threat modeling (TARA context).
• Good understanding of security mechanisms (encryption, authentication, secure boot, key management).
• Ability to analyze logs, traffic, and system responses and clearly report findings with remediation guidance.
