Cyber Resiliency Senior Technical Analyst
Join the Office of the CISO as a member of the Cyber Resiliency Team at Syneos Health. This role is responsible for ensuring the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptive events and cyber threats. You will execute analysis of data, telemetry, and technical configurations to identify weaknesses in operational and process controls. Using a data‑driven approach, you’ll assess risks, uncover coverage gaps, and prioritize actions that strengthen resiliency across the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Cyber Resiliency and Exposure Management program
- Develop reports and dashboards tracking key resiliency metrics, exposure trends, and control performance
- Evaluate vulnerability, configuration, and operational telemetry to identify exposure or resiliency weaknesses
- Correlate vulnerability and threat data to prioritize remediation of likely exploitations
- Partner with security architects, engineers, and operational teams to define resiliency metrics and validate risks
- Identify missing technology or scanning coverage areas and recommend action
- Support security reviews against common attack vectors and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or cyber risk analysis
- 1+ year of data analytics experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong familiarity with NIST CSF, HITRUST, and CCM frameworks
- Understanding of CVSS, EPSS, KEV, and other threat prioritization methods
- High‑level understanding of AWS, Azure, and OCI
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
