Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, IT, or a related discipline is required.
• 4–10 years of experience in data protection, privacy, or compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws, including India's Personal Data Protection framework.
• Professional certifications such as CIPT/CIPM/CIPPE or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop data protection policies and procedures in line with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
• Conduct data privacy and protection risk assessments and define mitigation strategies as per client requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and internal policies.
• Provide guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), privacy impact assessments, risk assessments, and data governance.
• Design and implement privacy and security frameworks, processes, and controls for clients.
• Recommend practical and innovative privacy solutions and support stakeholder discussions.
• Define privacy metrics and dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain records of data processing activities and data protection compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote awareness of data protection policies and best practices.
