Job summary

EY is seeking a Braze Consultant/Senior Consultant in India to design, build and optimize customer engagement programs using Braze. You will implement omnichannel journeys, audience segmentation, event tracking and personalization to enhance customer experiences.

Collaborate with data teams to integrate Braze with SDKs, APIs and data mappings; run A/B tests, analyze engagement metrics and drive improvements across email, SMS, push and in-app messaging.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in Marketing Automation or MarTech implementations.
• Braze experience with certifications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize customer engagement programs on Braze.
• Configure environments, campaigns, journeys, and canvases.
• Create segments, attributes, events, and lifecycle programs.
• Execute omnichannel campaigns across email, SMS, push, in-app, content cards and WhatsApp.
• Integrate Braze with data systems via APIs, SDKs and data mappings.
• Monitor performance, run A/B tests, and drive data-based optimization.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Braze Consultant to help design, build, and optimize customer engagement programs using the Braze customer engagement platform. The candidate will implement omnichannel customer journeys, campaign orchestration, audience segmentation, event tracking, and personalization strategies to enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Braze Platform Implementation

• Configure and manage Braze environments.
• Build customer engagement campaigns and journeys.
• Develop and maintain Braze Canvas and Campaign workflows.
• Configure triggered, transactional, and lifecycle campaigns.
• Implement personalization and dynamic content strategies.

Audience & Segmentation

• Create customer segments and audience rules.
• Configure user attributes, custom events, and catalog data.
• Support real-time audience activation.
• Design customer lifecycle and retention programs.

Omnichannel Campaign Execution

• Develop and execute campaigns across:
• Email
• SMS
• Push Notifications
• In-App Messaging
• Content Cards
• WhatsApp (where applicable)

Integration & Data Management

• Collaborate with data engineering teams for Braze integrations.
• Configure SDKs, APIs, webhooks, and partner integrations.
• Support data mapping and event validation.
• Troubleshoot campaign delivery and reporting issues.
• Ensure compliance with customer consent and privacy requirements.

Reporting & Optimization

• Monitor campaign performance.
• Analyze engagement metrics.
• Conduct A/B testing and experimentation.
• Recommend optimization opportunities based on data insights.

• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in Marketing Automation, Customer Engagement Platforms, CRM, or MarTech implementations.
• Braze certifications are highly preferred.
