Job summary

Buckman Laboratories India is seeking a dedicated Customer Service professional in Chennai to handle day-to-day customer service activities and collaborate with the sales team to ensure perfect order fulfillment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business / Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
• 3-5 years of experience in Customer service or Logistics in manufacturing or specialty chemicals industry.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Customer service activities to ensure superior customer experience.
• Collaborate with sales team to provide value-added services for perfect order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as first line of contact for support to direct customers, distributors, and outside sales associates.
• Process Sales orders, sample requests, and other customer inquiries.
• Coordinate with Operations and cross-function departments to meet shipment requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate and timely follow-through on shipment of orders and resolve product or service problems.
• Ensure every order is executed as a perfect order and adheres to SLA.
• Liaise with forwarders/3PL for delivery dates and negotiate with customers against proforma invoices.
• Support ISO requirements by following procedures and assisting audits as needed.

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day Customer service activities to ensure a Superior Customer Experience.

You will collaborate with the respective sales team in providing value-added services to achieve the highest level of perfect order fulfillment, Customer satisfaction.

First line of contact for support to direct customers, distributors, and outside sales associates, responsible for processing Sales orders, sample requests, and other customer inquiries.

Communicate and collaborate with Operations and cross-function departments for order fulfillment, meeting shipment requirements and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction

Ensure accurate and timely follow-through upon shipment of orders. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution

Ensure every order is executed as a Perfect order; adhered to Service Level Agreement

Liaising with forwarders / 3PL for delivery dates and negotiating these dates with customers against committed dates per proforma invoice

Support ISO requirements by following procedures and, as requested, supporting internal and external audit requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Full-time bachelors degree in business / Logistics/ Supply chain Management from a reputed university 3-5 years of experience in Customer service or Logistics in manufacturing or Specialty chemicals industry.
