Job summary

Natus Sensory India is expanding its India team. The role starts as a remote position and will transition to an office-based role in Bengaluru. You will handle order processing, respond to customer inquiries, and contribute to inventory coordination in a collaborative, international environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive communication, and adherence to company policies. English is the company language; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify order information for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter orders into database and process orders; provide confirmations to customers.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or chat about prices, shipping dates, and delays.
• Clarify orders with appropriate parties; obtain additional information as needed.
• Answer product questions, trace lost shipments, interpret orders for shipping; take phone orders when needed.
• May manage web-based ordering and write price differentials on mail orders.
• May approve stock allocation, special price quotations, bids, or discounts; manage inventories at customer facilities using EDI and forecasting.

Job Overview:

Receive, verify order information for accuracy and completeness, enter orders into database and process orders for the organization .

Provide order confirmations to customers.

Respond to customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, or chat regarding prices, shipping dates, and/or any anticipated delays.

Contact appropriate parties to clarify orders and obtain additional information.

Answers product-related questions, traces lost shipments, interprets and clarifies customer orders for the shipping department, takes orders over the phone when necessary, and may manage web-based ordering, confers with management regarding customer credits, returns goods for credit, identifies quality assurance complaints, and writes price differentials on mail orders.

May approve allocation of stock in short supply, special price quotations and bids, pricing allowances, deductions and adjustments.

May manage inventories at customer facilities using EDI (electronic data interchange), forecasting, replenishment and inventory systems, focusing on stock and allocation issues to maximize service levels.

Responsibilities:

At the support intermediate level, this role performs a variety of routine and moderately complex tasks with increasing independence. The individual applies established job knowledge and skills to complete assigned work efficiently, recognizing the broader impact on co-workers and other departments. Responsibilities may include responding to information requests, researching basic issues, and resolving routine problems using defined procedures and judgment.

This role communicates detailed and accurate information clearly to both internal and external contacts, ensuring understanding and follow-through. While most work is guided by standard processes and procedures, there is some latitude to exercise judgment in handling non-routine tasks.

Work is performed with moderate supervision, with the expectation that the individual will seek guidance as needed and continue building technical and functional proficiency .

Experience Required:

This level requires prior experience performing similar routine tasks, with a demonstrated ability to work independently on standard assignments. Individuals are expected to have a solid understanding of functional procedures and show initiative in resolving basic problems. Typically, they have 1-2 years of relevant experience and are comfortable working with moderate supervision while applying growing judgment.
