Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician to perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls, including servicing ATMs and self-checkout systems within a defined territory.

Job description

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment such as ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Perform maintenance repairs and system overhauls
• Manage network faults and traffic, configuration, security, and remote system access
• Organize and triage customer issues and handle some problems before they start
• Communicate with customers as a first-line response in an open, helpful, and engaging manner

Requirements

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 19 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR Atleos fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to travel extensively, driving several hours per day
• Ability to work rotating and weekend shifts
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects
• Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of applicable screening criteria
• Preferred: familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• Preferred: A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification
