Bright Horizons is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Center Director in delivering high-quality early years experiences. You will oversee the development and implementation of a range of pedagogical approaches and lead staff training in liaison with the Director.

You will ensure the teaching team provides safe, nurturing environments for children aged 4 months to 6 years, while maintaining staffing ratios and strengthening parent partnerships within Mumbai.

Competenze

• Excellent English communication skills, including speaking and writing.
• Relevant education qualifications as stated (Bachelor's/Master's in Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, Montessori, or similar).

Job Description

Reporting to: Center Director

Job Title: Program Coordinator

Primary Purpose

1- Bright Horizons values high quality early years experiences and the role of the Program Coordinator is integral in supporting children's outcomes through the development of a strategy to lead on a range of pedagogical approaches.

2- You will be responsible for ensuring the teaching strategies program is implemented appropriately and to lead/facilitate training for staff working in the center as required in liaison with the Director.

3- Ensure the teaching team provides safe and nurturing environments for children that encourage their social,emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

4- Lead the implementation of our developmentally appropriate curriculum (EYFS) by:

• Ensuring that children's safety and wellbeing are of utmost importance at all times
• Leading the team in developing and sustaining strong parent partnerships
• Leading with HEART principles to build positive relationships in the center
• Ensure that children are supervised at all times. Guide staff in developing skills to supervise entire group whether working with a small group or individuals
• Maintain staffing ratios in accordance with the specific requirements for the center

Age group

We work with age group of children from 4 months to 6 years.

Shifts

We require the candidates to be flexible with our standard shift timings.

• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM,
• 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM,
• 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM and
• 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM. (Shift allowance for the last schedule will be provided).

Salary

The banding is between 55,000 INR to 70,000 INR monthly gross.

Eligibility Criteria

• Excellent English communication skills, including speaking, writing, and vocabulary, are mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Education, or minimum one year Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, Nursery Teacher Training, Montessori Teacher Training, Pre-Primary Education, Pre-Elementary Education, or any other relevant education or early years qualification is required.
• Candidates must posses the relevant educational qualifications along with the necessary professional experience. Experience without the required educational qualifications will not be considered.
