Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a Mulesoft Platform Admin with strong operations and cloud foundation experience in Hyderabad. The role involves setting up OpenShift on AWS/Azure, configuring Flex Gateway, and managing CI/CD via Kino, Terraform, Tekton, and ArgoCD.

You will oversee APIM certificates, backups, DR readiness, and platform health, ensuring security and uptime while collaborating with EIP and support teams.

Qualifications

• Exp: 5 to 8 years (Relevant 4+ years).
• Hands-on experience in Cloudhub2 or RTF or FlexGateway.
• OpenShift on AWS/Azure experience and cloud foundations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and platform administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of the OpenShift environment on AWS and Azure.
• OpenShift Hosting Setup: configure Flex Gateway via platform CI/CD.
• Implement network configurations for optimal performance.
• Manage lifecycle of Flex Gateway including patches and upgrades.
• Oversee APIM certificates (TLS) and ~200 certificates across DNS/ingress.
• Conduct backups and restore operations to safeguard data.
• Monitor platform capacity and ensure uptime; participate in DR activities.
• Execute health checks and manage firewall change requests.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and handle incident response.
• CI/CD Management using Kino (Terraform, Tekton, ArgoCD) for deployments.
• Document recurring tasks for knowledge transfer to support team.

Platform Setup:

Assist in the setup of the OpenShift environment on AWS and Azure, including:

OpenShift Hosting Setup:

Configure Flex Gateway via platform CI/CD setup.

Implement network configurations for optimal performance.

APIM Support Tasks:

Manage the lifecycle of the Flex Gateway, including:

Patching and upgrades to maintain system integrity.

Oversee the management of APIM certificates (TLS Context), ensuring timely renewal of approximately 200 certificates associated with various DNS and entry points (ingress flow).

Conduct regular backup and restore operations to safeguard data integrity.

Monitor and manage platform capacity to ensure optimal performance.

Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities to maintain business continuity.

Execute health checks and manage firewall change requests to ensure security and uptime.

Troubleshoot platform issues and implement resolutions effectively.

Handle incident management, ensuring swift response and resolution of platform-related incidents.

CI/CD Management:

Utilize AXA’s in-house CI/CD tool, Kino, based on Terraform, Tekton, and ArgoCD, to streamline deployment processes and enhance automation.

Documentation and Support:

Document all recurring tasks and processes for knowledge transfer to the support team.

Collaborate with the support team to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities once documentation is complete.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

Work closely with the EIP team that supports OpenShift to exchange knowledge and best practices.

Focus on continuous improvement, with an emphasis on CI/CD practices and Terraform scripting.
