Job summary

Lloyds Technology Centre in India invites an OpenShift DevOps Engineer to own and optimize enterprise-scale container platforms. You will manage OCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring reliability, security, and scalable operations across environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise in OpenShift, Linux, cloud platforms, monitoring, and automation tools, plus collaboration with DevOps, SRE, and security teams to drive production stability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Proficient in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Automation of infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments.
• Deploy, configure, and support containerised applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and IaC practices.
• Troubleshoot platform, application, cluster, networking, and deployment issues.
• Perform OpenShift cluster upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
• Implement and manage OpenShift security controls including RBAC, secrets, certificates, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor platform health, logs, and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and other observability tools.
• Collaborate with Development, SRE, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to improve reliability.
• Support production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Manage Helm charts, deployment configurations, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Kubernetes manifests.
• Contribute to platform standardisation, automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
