Role Description

The Crypto Trader will manage day-to-day trading activities in crypto derivatives, focusing on BTC and ETH instruments on Niyam Exchange. This full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India includes developing, executing, and refining trading strategies, monitoring market movements, placing and managing orders, and optimizing risk-reward profiles in line with the firm’s risk parameters. The role involves conducting quantitative and qualitative market analysis, maintaining trading logs and performance reports, and collaborating with internal teams to support product and liquidity initiatives. The trader will also ensure adherence to compliance guidelines, follow disciplined trading practices, and contribute insights on market structure and strategy improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cryptocurrency Trading and Trading, with hands-on experience in live crypto markets.
• Candidates should possess robust Trading Strategies capabilities, including strategy design, backtesting, and performance evaluation.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, risk analysis, and decision-making under volatility.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Cryptocurrency markets, instruments, and market microstructure.
• Relevant experience in derivatives (futures/options), risk management, or proprietary trading is highly beneficial.
• A degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Proficiency with trading platforms, charting tools, and Excel or similar analytical software is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a disciplined, process-driven environment, with strong attention to detail and ethical conduct.
